"Herds of zebras in a sandstorm, herds of zebras in the desert—surviving as a group"

I am moved by how survival in nature is never achieved alone. The group is an acoustic, visual, and emotional network. I paint these networks as an interweaving of lines, as an overlapping of rhythms. This inspires me to create images that represent not only a zebra, but also the polyphony that holds it together.
